The Bible Answers
Are there right answers to Bible questions?
As this question would be commonly understood, the answer is Yes.
These are good questions, and there is nothing more important for your soul than to find what the Bible says about them. They go to the issues of who God is and who man is. You will ignore them at the peril of your eternal soul. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" [Mark 8:36]
It is possible to know the truth about God and His work in the world, but only if we seek it in the source of truth, the Creator of the world. "Jer 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 9:24
Note the following Scripture:
Proverbs 2:1-4 "So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
John 17:1-3: "These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."
John 18:38: "Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?"
1 John 3:19: "And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him."
Tit 1:1: "Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;"
1Titus 3:15: "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."
2Timothy 3:7: "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Romans 1:28: "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind...."
2Timothy 1:7: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
